At the crossroads of the 1980s and 1990s, during the rise of LEDs in the field of traffic lights, Théry Hindrick released the Sydney repeater.
It is presented as a modernized version of the repeater of the Normal-Aluminum range, with the only difference that it does not have fixing brackets.

This traffic light is presented as one of the first vandalproof equipment.
It is made of cast aluminum alloy and is equipped with "Diosignal®" light sources.

This repeater will be fitted to all Théry Hindrick ranges of traffic lights, and will be taken over by Sagem when it takes over Théry Hindrick/SFIM in 1999.
