The LUX 2000 range is a range of Austrian origin, designed by designer Michel Durand-Megret, manufactured by Futurit and marketed in France by EL-SI and Théry Hindrick in the 1980s.
Designed in "vandalism and unbreakable" plastic material according to a catalog, these traffic lights turn out to be fragile, and have now disappeared. However, there are still a few very rare copies in Issy les Moulineaux (92), which are about to be replaced.
The traffic lights do not have visors because "they have an anti-ghost contrast device" according to a catalog, but again, once in the sun, these traffic lights prove to be ineffective.
The pedestrian signal carry the historic EVR pictograms and are not very visible if they are not seen from the front.
All these defects result from the rarity of these traffic lights and the rapid replacement of these.
On this repeater two of three brown parts on the red and green light are missing.
On this traffic light the grey strips are adhesive tapes intended to maintain faces.
