specific signals

This pedestrian signal includes a red pictogram and a green pictogram separated by several yellow rectangles.
The separation into several rectangles suggests that it was originally an hourglass, the rectangles went out one after the other depending on the time left for pedestrians to cross.
Today, all the yellow rectangles light up simultaneously while flashing to warn pedestrians that it has been detected by the PPS.

This is a special design for the equipment of specific pedestrian crossings (PPS) in the city of Toulouse, from 1985.
After Théry Hindrick's cessation of activity, it was the manufacturers TTS, then Lacroix Traffic who continued to manufacture an identical signal on behalf of the city of Toulouse.

It was common for Théry Hindrick to produce signals outside the catalog, outside the standard ranges offered, and sometimes even outside the regulations in force.

Some signals were also special orders from communities.
