The result of a design competition, the Aluxe range was an immediate success.
Many copies have been sold by Sagem throughout France. Mainly in aluminum colour, Aluxe traffic lights can also be painted.
On the traffic lights, the curved contrast frame is fixed between the black front face and the aluminum rear part.
In the initial project of 2005, two versions of totem-traffic light were created, but were never marketed.
The Aluxe range has been produced by Aximum since 2010, the year of the acquisition of Sagem's traffic control activity.
