historic
Omnium Technique & Industriel du Contrôle (OTIC), was a company specializing in the manufacture of measurement, control and regulation devices, founded in 1947. Otic was then bought by the American group Fischer & Porter, and became Otic Fischer & Carry.

As early as the 1960s, at least one model of intersection controller was developed and patented in 1966.

In 1978, two ranges of traffic lights named Octogonal 2000 and Prestige 2000 were marketed, which were mainly sold in the south of France.

Otic Fischer & Porter was bought in 1994 by the Italian-American group Elsag-Bailey, which closed Otic the following year, in 1995, and consequently stopped the production of ranges of traffic lights.
