This range of traffic lights is the most widespread from the manufacturer Otic Fischer & Porter, it is mainly found in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, where the factory was located. They also equipped the entire Prado-Carénage tunnel in Marseille in 1993.
The first version of these octagonal shaped signals was made of steel.
The second version was made of fiberglass.
The inventor of these traffic lights deposited them back at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) in 2003, with a new modernized version of the repeater, perhaps with a view to new marketing.
