The Polyvelec company was founded in 1996 by the father of the famous Hodos controller, marketed by Lacroix-Sofrel in the 1990s, and nearly 450 of which are still in service in Paris.
Polyvelec designs and markets an intersection controller called Azur. Its presence remains marginal on French territory, but it is still found locally in the PACA region where Polyvelec's headquarters are located, as well as in the north of France thanks to a partnership with the former display manufacturer SER.
Polyvelec also marketed electronic cards for the operation of LED light sources, in particular for an hourglass light which was marketed by SER.
