Jean Neuhaus S.A. was founded in 1929.
From its beginnings, the company developed traffic regulation equipment, European patents were filed in 1938 and 1939.
In 1939, a patent was filed concerning the development of the green wave system.

The road signals designed by Jean Neuhaus SA in the 1950s seems to be limited to a signal made up of three double-sided octagonal modules. We find this traffic light in Paris in the 1940s, and until the beginning of the 1990s, but also in the provinces (Avignon, Toulouse...).

From 1954, Jean Neuhaus SA also designed luminous refuge bollards equipped with fluorescent tubes, mainly installed in Paris. Three models of bollards will be deposited at the INPI in 1959.

Today, the Neuhaus company has become Signature, Eurovia group, and still designs signaling equipment but no longer traffic lights.
