POLICE PLATFORM SIGNAL
UNDERGROUND ROAD SIGNAL
H.MAILLET - Paris (75)
This small model of signal was formerly used in Paris for signaling bends, at the edge of underground roads or on crossroads platforms for traffic police.

It consists of a copper body equipped with glass optics and a visor. Some models were equipped with a second side lens.

The last examples still in place on public roads in 2015 were those of an underground road at Porte de Clignancourt. They were no longer in working order.

A copy has also been restored and saved by the MEGE association. It is exhibited in the museum of the association in Paris.
