The Trinity repeater was once used in Paris as a flashing signal for signaling dangerous obstacles on the road such as public lighting poles, traffic light poles or roundabout. Some copies were also installed on public lighting poles on the Paris ring to signal the divergent paths.
It was also used on private buildings for signaling gate or garage door.
It is the successor of the small signal used in Paris in 1940 and 1950. It was still on the catalog Girardin in 1990.
It is designed cast aluminum with a lens unicolore Ø85 mm and operated with a filament lamp flashing mode.
Some copies are still in place in Paris but none are still in working condition. Urban renewal, improving the quality of public lighting and lighting of vehicles were due to their abandonment.
