1950s
Straddling the towns of Ville-Du-Bois, Villebouzin, and Longpont-sur-Orge in Essonne, this crossroads of three towns located on the RN20 was equipped in the 1960s with a curious Garbarini traffic light suspended from the middle of the roadway, "American style". A high installation for the time, when the brackets were not yet used in tricolor signalling.
Today, this important crossroads is still controlled by traffic lights, and Garbarini signals are still used.
