Mondial was a range of polycarbonate traffic lights designed by the Austrian manufacturer Swarco Futurit and for which EL-SI (which became Aximum in 2009) had obtained the exclusive resale license in France.
The reference of the traffic lights is made up of the letter M followed by the diameter of the lenses and their number (eg: M333: Mondial tricolor light Ø300 mm).
Mondial lights are recognizable by their green color, but some are also black. In particular, they equip the entire city of Bordeaux, with the head office of EL-SI/Aximum Produits Electroniques being located in the Bordeaux region.
